Career & Technical Education

A group of students pose

Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the knowledge and hands-on training necessary to succeed in future careers.

Phoenix High School offers 7 Oregon state certified Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs to students. These programs offer hands-on, real world experience from teachers who are also industry experts. Students have the opportunity to become CTE Program Completers by passing a minimum of 2 credits of courses in a given program. Repeated courses will not count toward CTE program completion. By doing so, students will earn a purple cord for graduation and recognition at Senior Awards Night. Navigate our CTE menu to learn more about each program.
